SHIPYARD LANE
In a beautiful waterfront village setting, the historically sensitive restoration of this residence included three phases: renovation work, an addition, and a new carriage house. Phase 1 included reconstruction of wrap-around porch with period-appropriate details. Interior spaces were reconfigured to improve water views and interior circulation. The kitchen was removed, replaced, and expanded in Phase 2, and a first floor master suite added. Display areas were created throughout the home for the owners’ extensive art and ship’s model collections. Phase 3 involved the addition of a carriage house on the property which serves as a retreat from the main house for additional entertaining space.
